A PDA may stand for a Personal Digital Assistant. This is a small electronic device which can include some functionality of computers. GPS is the only fully functioning satellite navigation system.
PDA GPS tools and other programs all contributed to effectively make flying a lot safer and simpler, and therefore, more enjoyable for everyone involved in flight.

Has it really been 10 years since the first Ambilight television? Does anyone care? After all, the press release was issued back in January at CES and missed by nearly everyone, including us. Well, Philips certainly cares and aims to celebrate by dishing out a triplet of Ambilight LCDs ranging size from 42-, 47-, and 52-inches. As you’d expect, they’ve got all the sweetest buzzwords covered: 1080p, 120Hz, LED backlighting. The Dell tablets will be labelled under their Business laptop series - Latitude notebooks. The Latitude XT Tablet looks like its going to be one of the first ones from the company.

Sprint Offers ABC TV Shows On the Go

ABC today will make available episodes of Grey’s Anatomy, Lost, Desperate Housewives and Ugly Betty on video-equipped phones, along with Disney Channel series such as Hannah Montana, ABC News’ Nightline and other programming. The four most-recent episodes of each series can be viewed on demand at no extra charge by subscribers to a $20-a-month data package.

Samsung Develops 8GB microSD Memory Card

Samsung today announced that it has developed an 8GB microSD memory card, capable of storing 2,000 MP3 music files, 4,000 digital photos, or approximately 5 DVD-quality movies.
SD cards, to date, have been largely used for data storage in digital still cameras and increasingly in televisions. MicroSD cards, which are a quarter the size of an SD card, are backward compatible with SD cards using an extender, to allow multimedia files downloaded by mobile phones to be easily displayed on other media.

Alltel Agrees to $27.5 Billion Buyout

A pair of investment firms have agreed to acquire Alltel Corp., the fifth-biggest U.S. wireless company and owner of the nation’s largest geographic network, in a deal worth $27.5 billion.
The telecommunications company announced Sunday that it had signed an agreement to be acquired by TPG Capital, formerly Texas Pacific Group, and GS Capital Partners, a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs.
