Dopod Launches BlackBerry Connect v4.0 in Asia

Dopod International Corporation and Research In Motion (RIM) today announced the availability of BlackBerry� Connect� software v4.0 on 838Pro. Through the existing licensing relationship between High Tech Computer Corp. (HTC) and RIM, Dopod International is providing BlackBerry Connect software on its Microsoft� Windows Mobile�-based 838Pro to support push-based wireless email services, in conjunction with both BlackBerry� Enterprise Server and BlackBerry� Internet Service. Dopod International is the first to offer BlackBerry Connect v4.0 in Asia.
