Sometimes we don’t want our files to be seen by other people, maybe your friends, family, or even if your lost your PDA. Below the step you can keep it safe.

Step 1
Download FileBarricader 2007 application (free)

Step 2
This application needs Microsoft.Net Compact Framework 2.0 in order to be active on your PDA.

Step 3
Install both applications to your PDA.

Step 4
Open application of File Barricader 2007.

Step 5
Click FILE option. A pop up will appear and contain eight options that can be selected. Essentially, there are three steps we can do, namely encryption, description and deletion, safely. These three steps can be applied to both file and folder.

Step 6
Suppose we want to hide an MP3 folder. For this purpose, select ‘encrypt folder contents’ option.

Step 7
Explorer file will appear. Find the intended folder, and click OK.

Step 8
A new page contained file or folder to be encrypted, password and confirmed password columns will appear. Type certain numbers or letters as password in password column, retype the password in confirmed password column. Click Start.

Step 9
A notification will appear asking whether we want to change the original file/folder with the encrypted ones or not. Click Yes.

Step 10
The encryption process will run and need several seconds, depending on the capacity of target folder.

Step 11
Process finished.

Whenever you need the file again, you can make decryption process. It is reversal of encryption process that just has been done.

Step 1
Open FileBarricader 2007 application. Then, click File.

Step 2
Select Decrypt folder contents.

Step 3
After a new page opened, select the mentioned folder.

Step 4
Enter password. Then, click start.

Step 5
Again, a pop up of notification will appear. Select YES.

Step 6
Process will run immediately and you can find your mentioned file.

All right, now you don’t have to fear although your friends borrow your PDA. Have a nice day
